The American Welding Society (AWS) recently hosted a Welding Summit in August in The Woodlands, Texas, which included interactive seminars presented by the best and brightest welding professionals in the world. Red-D-Arc’s Lori Kuiper presented a “Basics and Best Practices for Pre and Post Heat Treatment” overview, as well as a “Self-Performing Mechanized Welding & Heat Treating Applications” presentation in the Emerging Trends in Welding segment. Over 160 welding engineers, project managers, and quality control specialists were in attendance who were interested in enhancing their knowledge of various advanced welding topics on behalf of various oil and gas, power, and construction companies, as well as students who are currently enrolled in welding education programs.
